Former AXA Broker Seeks $10M In Retaliation Case

Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 2:44 PM ET) -- A former AXA Network LLC broker has sued the insurer and its brokerage affiliate for breach of contract and other claims, alleging he was dumped as a sales agent after blowing the whistle on violations by a co-worker related to a $30 million Ponzi scheme at a hedge fund.

Stamford, Conn.-based broker Steven Novick filed a second amended complaint against AXA and AXA Network LLC in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Friday, seeking more than $10 million in damages...
