Cancer Widow Denied Cert. In Life Investors Suit

Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 1:28 PM ET) -- The widow of a Pennsylvania cancer victim has lost a bid to certify a class of supplemental cancer insurance policyholders but has won partial summary judgment in a suit accusing Life Investors Insurance Co. of America of wrongfully denying cancer patients payments on claims made under the policies.
