Logitech To Purchase LifeSize For $405M

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 2:50 PM EST) -- Computer mouse and webcam maker Logitech International SA has agreed to acquire privately held high-definition videoconferencing provider LifeSize Communications Inc. for $405 million in cash, in an effort to boost its role in the rapidly growing visual communications market.

LifeSize will operate as a separate division in Austin, Texas, where it is currently based, under the leadership of its current CEO and co-founder Craig Malloy, who will report to Logitech President and CEO Gerald Quindlen, Logitech announced Tuesday.
