Sanctions Bid Nixed In 2nd Pittsburgh Hospital Suit

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 2:56 PM ET) -- A judge has rejected Pittsburgh Mercy Health System Inc.'s request for sanctions against plaintiffs' counsel in a collective action over pay policies, saying a recent decision rejecting a similar request in a related case doomed efforts to punish these attorneys over unsupervised notices sent to potential opt-in plaintiffs in the first case.
