Edge Petroleum Disclosure Statement Wins Judge's OK

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 3:57 PM ET) -- The bankruptcy judge overseeing Edge Petroleum Corp.’s prepackaged Chapter 11 proceedings has approved the oil company’s latest disclosure statement and set a hearing for plan confirmation next month.

Judge Richard Schmidt of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas ruled that the amended disclosure statement filed Monday contained adequate information for its latest plan, which was submitted on Monday, and set a confirmation hearing for Dec. 11.
