RealNetworks Goes To Bat For DVD Ripper In 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 4:41 PM EST) -- RealNetworks Inc. has fired the opening shot in its appeal of a preliminary injunction blocking sales of its RealDVD applications for ripping a DVD to a hard drive, saying the federal judge who granted the order didn't consider whether there was a demonstrable likelihood of irreparable harm.
