NJ Seeks To Join Del. In Army Corps Dredging Fight

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 12:58 PM EST) -- New Jersey has asked to intervene in a lawsuit brought by Delaware accusing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of moving forward with a dredging project on the Delaware River without state approval.

New Jersey filed a motion to intervene in the case Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The state, which filed a similar suit against the Corps in federal court in New Jersey on Nov. 2, said it would also seek to consolidate the cases.
