Dow Jones To Sell Stake In Stoxx For €206.1M

Law360, New York (November 12, 2009, 2:15 PM EST) -- German exchange operator Deutsche Boerse AG announced Thursday that it and Swiss partner SIX Group will become the sole operators of Stoxx Ltd. when they buy out Dow Jones & Co. for €206.1 million ($309.1 million) in cash.

The deal includes about €132.1 million ($198 million), for Dow Jones’ one-third stake in the Swiss index provider, and about €74 million ($110 million) for some intellectual property rights acquired by Stoxx, according to a statement from Deutsche Boerse announcing the transaction.
