Britney, Justin, Lakers Sued Over Jumbo Screen Patent

Law360, New York (November 12, 2009, 2:55 PM EST) -- The holder of a patent that relates to jumbo screens has sued the Los Angeles Lakers and performers Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and the Pussycat Dolls for allegedly using the technology at concerts and sporting events without obtaining a license.

Large Audience Display Systems LLC filed the lawsuit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Michael Burk, an attorney for the company, said more defendants could be added to the case in the future.
