Guards Hit Security Company With Overtime Suit

Law360, New York (November 12, 2009, 3:08 PM EST) -- Security guards alleging they were not properly compensated for time spent working before and after their shifts, as well as for maintenance of their required uniforms, have filed a putative collective action against Per Mar Security Services and its CEO.

The plaintiffs filed their complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa against Per Mar, which provides security services to businesses in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin, and CEO Michael Duffy.
