Judge Hands Craigslist Evidence Win In EBay Suit

Law360, New York (November 12, 2009, 6:41 PM ET) -- A Delaware judge will permit Craigslist Inc. to submit evidence that alleges minority shareholder eBay Inc. misused its information and engaged in unfair competition in eBay's securities dilution suit against the online listings network.

Chancellor William B. Chandler III of the Delaware Chancery Court denied part of eBay's motion to exclude the evidence from the Dec. 7 trial, determining that it "appears to have an immediate and necessary relationship" to eBay's proposed equitable remedy of getting a seat on or exerting influence over the Craigslist board....
