Employment Lawyers' Wish List For 2010

Law360, New York (December 7, 2009, 1:12 PM EST) -- If they had their druthers, attorneys would put the U.S. Supreme Court and Congress to work in 2010 on defining exactly what constitutes compensable time in the 21st-century workplace, harmonizing the tests for determining independent contractor status, and providing guidance on promoting diversity in light of the Ricci decision.

Law360 spoke to top management-side employment attorneys to find out what legal gray areas they would most like to see clarified in the new year, and these wishes topped the list.
