Dish's Discovery Wishes Denied In Spat With Insurers

Law360, New York (November 13, 2009, 1:10 PM EST) -- The insurers of Dish Network Corp. will not have to hand over a wide range of documents relating to their administration of policy contracts, after a federal judge found that the satellite provider had not met its burden to compel expanded discovery into the insurers' obligations to defend an underlying patent dispute over Dish's in-house telephone system.
