State High Court Affirms $50M Massey Verdict Reversal

Law360, New York (November 13, 2009, 4:28 PM ET) -- West Virginia's highest court has upheld on remand its decision to overturn a $50 million verdict against Massey Energy Co. in a dispute over coal contracts, following the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that the court should have disqualified a judge who received campaign funds from a Massey executive.
