Judge Nixes Trial In Honeywell LCD Patent Suit

Law360, New York (November 16, 2009, 3:20 PM ET) -- After invalidating the sole patent asserted by Honeywell International Inc. in a long-running patent lawsuit against Fujifilm Corp., Samsung SDI Co. and other electronics companies, a judge has decided the case will not move forward to trial.

Judge Joseph J. Farnan Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware issued a memorandum Friday stating that the case would not move forward with a trial for the time being since the parties have not agreed to continue to trial.
