Chitron Loses Bid To Toss Illegal China Exports Case

Law360, New York (November 17, 2009, 3:32 PM EST) -- Shenzhen Chitron Electronics Co. Ltd., a Chinese corporation accused of conspiring to illegally export radar components and other military items to China, has lost its bid to have its case dismissed.

Judge Patti B. Saris of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts denied on Thursday Chitron's motion to dismiss the charges, rejecting the company's claims that the court lacks personal jurisdiction and that the service of the summons was insufficient.
