L-3, Other Contractors Win Iraq FLSA Suit Dismissal

Law360, New York (November 16, 2009, 3:51 PM ET) -- Military contractors L-3 Communications Corp., L-3 Communications Holdings Inc., Titan Corp. and L-3 Services Inc. have succeeded in winning the dismissal of a suit filed by former employees who alleged they were not compensated for overtime worked in Iraq between 2003 and 2007.

Judge James Cacheris of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia dismissed the complaint on Friday for lack of jurisdiction, although he noted that the plaintiffs could refile in a more appropriate state or court, and that a related case...
