NLRB Takes Swift Transportation Case To 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (November 17, 2009, 6:04 PM ET) -- The National Labor Relations Board is appealing a federal judge's decision to deny its bid to stop trucking giant Swift Transportation Co. Inc. from threatening to fire its employees if they engage in union activities.

James Small, the agency's regional director, filed a notice of appeal on behalf of the agency in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Monday.
