Most Orange County MTBE Claims Time-Barred: Judge

Law360, New York (November 17, 2009, 3:49 PM ET) -- A federal judge overseeing multidistrict litigation on water contamination caused by methyl tertiary-butyl ether has tossed as time-barred 45 of the Orange County Water District's 60 claims accusing several oil companies of causing contamination by mishandling the gasoline additive.
