JPMorgan, DataTern Resolve Dispute Over Web Patent

Law360, New York (November 18, 2009, 2:14 PM ET) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. and several subsidiaries have reached a settlement with DataTern Inc. in an infringement suit targeting more than a dozen companies over a patent related to database access systems.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Monday signed an order dismissing JPMorgan, JPMorgan Chase Bank NA and Chase Bank USA NA with prejudice, pursuant to the terms of a settlement agreement dated Oct. 30.
