Teva Drops 2 Copaxone Claims Against Sandoz

Law360, New York (November 17, 2009, 7:04 PM EST) -- Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. has dropped claims for unfair competition and trade secrets misappropriation against Sandoz Inc. and parent company Novartis AG in a patent dispute over the multiple sclerosis drug Copaxone.

In an order issued Tuesday, Magistrate Judge Andrew J. Peck of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York approved Teva's bid to file an amended complaint dropping the two counts with prejudice.
