NetMass Settles Cloud Computing, Storage Suit

Law360, New York (November 20, 2009, 6:17 PM EST) -- Technology company NetMass Inc. has struck a settlement deal in which it admitted infringing three online storage and computing patents.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off on an order on Thursday entering judgment against NetMass and in favor of inventor Mitchell Prust and permanently enjoining NetMass from infringing the patents-in-suit, with the injunction taking effect Dec. 31.
