Drywall Linked To Metal Corrosion In Homes: CPSC

Law360, New York (November 23, 2009, 2:33 PM EST) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission released three studies Monday linking Chinese drywall installed in homes to elevated levels of hydrogen sulfide and the corrosion of metals.

The three studies released Monday include an indoor air study of 51 homes, and two preliminary component corrosion studies: an electrical component corrosion study and a fire safety component corrosion study.
