Law360, New York (November 24, 2009, 2:47 PM ET) -- New York’s highest court has affirmed the dismissal of ex-Simon & Schuster head Dick Snyder's suit accusing Warner Music Group owner Edgar Bronfman of withholding $100 million from him in the duo’s joint venture to acquire Warner, saying a written agreement was necessary for the claims to survive.
The seven-judge panel of the New York State Court of Appeals affirmed a December 2008 ruling by the state Supreme Court’s Appellate Division dismissing the only two claims that had survived a lower court’s decision.
