Insurer Seeks Exit From Suit Over Bratz Case Coverage

Law360, New York (November 24, 2009, 1:13 PM EST) -- Evanston Insurance Co. has moved for summary judgment in MGA Entertainment Inc.'s suit accusing several insurers of breaching their duty to defend against a trade secrets action filed by Mattel Inc. over the popular Bratz dolls, saying it is not responsible for $50 million in past defense costs or defense costs incurred before MGA tendered its defense to Evanston.
