Lenders Seek To Reorganize Tribune's Subsidiaries

Law360, New York (November 25, 2009, 3:33 PM EST) -- The biggest lenders to bankrupt Tribune Co. have asked a bankruptcy judge to deny the Chicago-based media company's request for more time to file a Chapter 11 reorganization plan because the lenders want to offer their own plan.

The lenders filed their objection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday to a four-month extension of the exclusivity period for Tribune's subsidiary debtors.
