Remaining Trademark Claims Chucked In FICO Suit

Law360, New York (December 01, 2009, 5:48 PM ET) -- A federal judge has rejected Fair Isaac Corp.'s remaining trademark and unfair competition claims against rivals Experian Information Solutions Inc. and TransUnion LLC on the heels of a jury verdict holding that the company behind the widely used FICO credit score rating had fraudulently registered its marks.

Judge Ann D. Montgomery of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota on Nov. 25 nixed the remaining keyword search and passing-off claims not addressed in the recently concluded trial.
