ITC Begins Sunset Review Of Chinese Furniture Duties

Law360, New York (December 1, 2009, 3:28 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has instituted a sunset review of anti-dumping duties on Chinese wooden bedroom furniture from China, which have recently been at the center of a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Commerce.

In a notice published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, the ITC announced that it had begun a five-year review of the duties, which went into effect in January 2005, to determine whether revoking them would lead to a recurrence of injury to domestic industry.
