Inverness Patent Saga Ends In Multimillion-Dollar Pact

Law360, New York (November 17, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- After a decade-long patent infringement battle, medical device makers Inverness Innovative Medical Solutions Inc. and Vedalab have decided to bury the hatchet and enter into an agreement that will require both rivals to shell out millions of dollars.

On Friday, the pair of rapid diagnostic test companies announced that they had finally reached a truce in a battle that has been raging in France and Germany since 1997.
