DLA Piper Consults PwC On Partnership Overhaul

Law360, New York (December 8, 2009, 2:04 PM EST) -- DLA Piper's offices outside the United States have asked PricewaterhouseCoopers to help them overhaul their partnership model to create clearer performance objectives, better-aligned roles and improved transparency for senior lawyers.

A firm representative on Tuesday confirmed that the review is expected to consider options to better align career management and remuneration. Currently, DLA Piper's U.K. and international offices operate on a three-tiered partnership system, with one tier of equity partners and two tiers of fixed-share partners.
