Law360, New York (April 29, 2004, 12:00 AM ET) -- Abelman Frayne & Schwab took the mantle as the most active filer of trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2003, according to a quarterly ranking published Thursday by NameProtect Inc.
The New York-based intellectual property specialist firm, which filed 984 trademarks in 2003, was followed by Minneapolis-based Merchant & Gould, with 898 trademark filings.
