3rd Circ. Affirms Verdict V. LGIA In Contract Suit

Law360, New York (December 08, 2009, 5:47 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court has upheld a jury verdict that found LG International America Inc. breached a contract with Intercon Enterprises Inc. by failing to make sufficient sales commission payments after Intercon agreed to steer new customers over to LGIA’s fiber-optic cable business.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on Monday disagreed with LGIA that the lower court made mistakes with its instructions to the jury, affirming the verdict that awarded Intercon about $805,000 in damages.
