Nations At Wassenaar Meeting Tweak Controls List

Law360, New York (December 9, 2009, 7:27 PM EST) -- Participants in the Wassenaar Arrangement on Export Controls for Conventional Arms and Dual-Use Goods and Technologies have modified the international export control system's lists of controls for dual-use goods, citing the need to keep apace with technological advances.

The United States and 39 other countries are signatories to the the Wassenaar Arrangement, an initiative launched in 1996 covering conventional weapons and sensitive goods and technologies that have both consumer and military uses.
