Comerica Settles TQP Online Encryption Patent Feud

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 1:37 PM ET) -- Comerica Inc. has become the latest in a long line of banks and finance firms to resolve a patent infringement suit launched by TQP Development LLC over technology for online encrypted data transmissions.

Having reached a settlement, TQP and Comerica filed a stipulation to dismiss their claims and counterclaims with prejudice Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
