Conn. High Court Nixes Black Firefighters' Bias Suit Win

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 3:16 PM EST) -- Connecticut's highest court has ruled that two black firefighters suing New Haven, Conn., over its promotion practices did not produce any evidence showing that the fire department's actions discriminated against black firefighters as a class, overturning a jury verdict in the plaintiffs' favor.
