First International Settles Online Message Patent Suit

Law360, New York (December 10, 2009, 12:55 PM EST) -- First International Bank has become the latest defendant to reach a license agreement in a lawsuit accusing several banks of infringing a Wolf Run Hollow LLC patent for transmitting secure online messages.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday approved a motion to dismiss Wolf Run's claims against Plano, Texas-based First International Bank with prejudice based on the license agreement.
