Miami’s Fontainebleau Owes $9M For Work: Contractor

Law360, New York (December 12, 2009, 4:39 PM EST) -- An electrical contractor has alleged the owners of the luxe Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach failed to pay $8.8 million for work done during a $1 billion renovation, lodging a suit that also targets Bank of America NA.

Florida-based Ion Electric LLC filed suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Fontainebleau Florida Hotel LLC and Turnberry Construction Inc., the entities that run the hotel, along with Bank of America, which provided a construction loan for the project.
