ITC Taps Former USAID Exec For Inspector General

Law360, New York (December 14, 2009, 2:30 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has named Philip M. Heneghan — previously chief information security officer for the U.S. Agency for International Development — as its inspector general.

ITC Chairman Shara L. Aranoff announced the appointment Friday. Heneghan started last week, he said Monday.

As inspector general, a post mandated by the Inspector General Act, Heneghan will conduct and supervise audits and investigations relating to the ITC's programs and operations, the commission said in a statement.
