Creditors Push UK Aircraft Supply Co. Into Ch. 11

Law360, New York (December 14, 2009, 6:16 PM EST) -- Three aircraft parts companies have filed an involuntary Chapter 11 petition for U.K.-based aircraft maintenance and inventory management company Aero Inventory (UK) Ltd., claiming the company is too heavily invested in the U.S. to proceed under the bankruptcy laws reserved for foreign companies.

Aerotech Engineering Inc., Aviosupport Inc. and Kirkhill Aircraft Parts Co., all unsecured creditors of Aero Inventory, lodged the involuntary Chapter 11 petition Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
