Appro, Nexcom Settle In Acqis Blade Server IP Suit

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 1:56 PM ET) -- Computer manufacturers Appro International Inc. and Nex Computers Inc. have become the latest defendants to settle Acqis LLC's suit accusing 11 companies — including Hewlett-Packard Co., IBM Corp. and Dell Inc. — of infringing several patents related to blade server technology.

Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Tuesday approved Nexcom and Acqis' stipulated motion for dismissal of all their claims and defenses with prejudice, while Appro and Acqis lodged their own separate motion for dismissal with prejudice...
