Judge Bars Psystar From Selling Mac OS X Copies

Law360, New York (December 18, 2009, 3:38 PM ET) -- Apple Inc. has won a permanent injunction preventing Psystar Corp. from selling copies of the proprietary Mac OS X operating system on Psystar-made computers, on the heels of a settlement in the technology giant's copyright and breach of contract suit.

The permanent injunction, issued Tuesday by Judge William Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, came just two weeks after Psystar agreed to shell out about $2.7 million in damages and attorneys’ fees in a partial settlement of the suit....
