South Florida Reclaims Place As Top 'Judicial Hellhole'

Law360, New York (December 16, 2009, 6:32 PM EST) -- South Florida is this year's top “judicial hellhole,” reclaiming a title that it held in 2007 and then lost in 2008 to West Virginia, according to a report from a tort reform special interests group.

The eighth annual “Judicial Hellholes” report, released Tuesday by the American Tort Reform Foundation, named South Florida; West Virginia; Cook County, Ill.; Atlantic County, N.J.; the New Mexico appellate courts; and New York City as the most unfair civil court jurisdictions in 2009.
