Honeywell Embarks On Marine Navigation Patent Fight

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 2:15 PM EST) -- Honeywell International Inc. is suing Furuno Electric Co. Ltd., Navico Holding AS and Raymarine Inc., arguing that the companies' navigation products designed for marine vehicles infringe Honeywell patents.

In a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S District Court for the District of Minnesota, Honeywell alleged that certain display and navigation products manufactured and sold by Navico, Furuno and Raymarine infringe at least one of five patents asserted by Honeywell in the lawsuit.
