Fla. AG Probes Diebold Sale To ES&S

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 4:02 PM ET) -- The Office of the Attorney General of Florida is investigating whether Diebold Inc.'s sale of its voting machine business to competitor Election Systems & Software Inc. violates antitrust laws.

The office of Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum said Thursday that an investigation was formally opened in September. Subpoenas were issued in October to Diebold, ES&S and other companies in the market, the office said.
