Barnett Goes To Bat For Telecoms

Law360, New York (November 22, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Assistant Attorney General Thomas O. Barnett will head to the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday to offer an amicus curiae argument on behalf of BellSouth Corp. in its landmark case against consumers who accused the company of anti-competitive behavior.

Barnett will address the question of whether parallel conduct, when paired with allegations of conspiracy, is enough to claim a violation under Section 1 of the Sherman Act.
