AmEx, ConAgra, Mattel Sued Over Pic Mashup Patent

Law360, New York (December 21, 2009, 5:41 PM ET) -- PixFusion LLC is suing Oddcast Inc., American Express Co., ConAgra Foods Inc., Mattel Inc. and a slew of other companies in a patent dispute involving the technology that allows Internet sites to substitute faces of users for the faces of characters from movies.

In a suit filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, PixFusion accuses Oddcast, American Express, Asus Computer International, ConAgra, Mattel, Veev Spirits LLC and WidgetBar Search LLC of infringing its patents.
