Old Litigation Patterns Likely To Resurface In 2010

Law360, New York (January 2, 2010, 5:27 PM EST) -- After falling off last year, litigation is expected to pick back up in 2010, with the intellectual property arena in particular expected to be a hotbed of activity in the months ahead.

With U.S. stocks rising and jobless claims down, legal industry experts are cautiously optimistic that a return to normal levels of business activity will translate to a modest increase in litigation spending after more than a 10 percent dip in 2009.
