Machine Companies Settle Patent Suit

Law360, New York (November 28, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Health Discovery Corp. said Tuesday that it settled a patent infringement lawsuit with a predictive modeling software company it had accused of infringing three patents related to support vector machines.

Though HDC received no money in the deal, the final consent judgment did bar California-based Equbits LLC from selling any future products that use its support vector machine technologies.
