Dechert To Offer Bonuses, Raise Salaries As Normal

Law360, New York (January 5, 2010, 6:44 PM EST) -- Dechert LLP reportedly plans to dole out associate bonuses of up to $30,000 and will not freeze or slash salaries in 2010 with the exception of associates in two offices, and Latham & Watkins LLP reportedly has decided to unfreeze associate salaries.

Dechert told its U.S. associates Monday that they would receive bonuses for 2009 ranging from $7,500 for those starting at the firm in 2008 to $30,000 for those starting in 2003 and earlier, according to an internal memo sent by Chairman Barton J. Winokur...
