Google, Other AHM Creditors Sued Over Transfers

Law360, New York (January 6, 2010, 1:11 PM EST) -- Creditors of American Home Mortgage Holdings Inc., including Google Inc., failed to return more than $800,000 in fraudulent transfers from the bankrupt lender, according to four adversary proceedings filed by the unsecured creditors committee.

The complaints, lodged Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, accuse Google, Eastland Sales Inc., Nash Printing Inc. and Warehouseline Ltd. of receiving and keeping about $813,000 in payments made by American Home during its 90-day preference period prior to filing its Chapter 11 petition.
